When is lovebug season?
In Florida, swarms usually hit twice a year, in spring (late April through May) and late summer (late August through September). Timing shifts with the weather.
What's in the Splat Pack?
Splat Coast Shield (prevention spray), Splat Coast Release (bug remover), a paint-safe scrub pad, microfiber towels and a how-to card.
How do I use it?
Spray Shield on a clean front end before the swarm. After a drive, soak bug hits with Release, let it dwell, lift with the pad and wipe with a towel.
Why does it matter?
Lovebug remains turn acidic as they dry and can etch your paint. The faster you remove them, the better.
